This video-based, Instructor-led course is designed for healthcare professionals such as nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, students and allied health professionals (i.e. trainers and therapists) who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in- and out- of hospital settings.
The focus of this course is on training participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. It includes adult, child, and infant rescue techniques
CNA Training
CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) training prepares individuals for entry-level positions in healthcare, specifically assisting patients with daily living activities and basic care under the supervision of a nurse. Training programs typically combine classroom learning, hands-on skills practice, and clinical experience in a healthcare facility
Heartsaver CPR/AED Class
Heartsaver CPR/ AED
This classroom-based course is designed for individuals with limited or no medical training that needs to complete a CPR/AED course for job, regulatory (i.e. OSHA) or other requirements. The focus of the course will be on basic CPR skills such as performing a head tilt-chin lift, and giving compressions and breaths. It includes the following modules:
- Adult CPR AED (with a mask)
- Adult choking
- Optional modules include child CPR AED, and infant CPR, including child and infant choking
Heartsaver First Aid Class
This classroom is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs to complete a basic first aid course to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. This course is designed to meet OSHA regulations. During the course, the following topics will be covered:
- First aid basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more)
- Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more)
- Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more)
- Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, and temperature-related and poison emergencies)
